During regular use, the filter captures sediment and other particles from your shower water. Over time, these materials accumulate inside the cartridge. Replacing the filter when needed helps maintain water flow and the performance of your Verequa filtration system.
Make sure the shower is fully turned off before opening the showerhead. This prevents unexpected water flow while you replace the filter.
Hold the Verequa showerhead securely and carefully unscrew the section that houses the filter by turning it anticlockwise.
Gently remove the existing filter cartridge from the showerhead. Pull it out carefully without forcing or twisting the internal components.
Inspect the inside of the filter compartment for visible sediment or residue. If necessary, gently wipe the area with a clean, damp cloth before installing the new filter.
Position the replacement cartridge inside the filter housing and gently slide it into place. It should sit securely without requiring excessive pressure.
If the cartridge does not fit easily, remove it and check the alignment before trying again.
Reattach the filter compartment by turning it clockwise. Tighten it securely by hand, but avoid over-tightening the threads.
Slowly turn the shower on and check the filter housing and connections for any leaking.
If you notice a small leak around the housing, turn the water off and check that the compartment has been correctly aligned and tightened.
Once everything is secure and water is flowing normally, your new filter is installed and your Verequa showerhead is ready to use again.
Filter lifespan can vary depending on household water quality and how frequently the shower is used.
Check the cartridge periodically for visible discolouration, sediment buildup or changes in shower performance.
Always use a replacement filter designed to be compatible with your Verequa showerhead.
Hand-tighten the housing. Excessive force may damage the showerhead threads or components.
